The Ozark Florist Association Board of Directors would like to encourage all deserving floral designers and managers in our four state region to make application for one of the several scholarships that will be awarded at the annual Convention at the Holiday Inn in Joplin, Missouri. Following are the guidelines for eligibility:

All applicants must be employed at least 32 hours per week at a dues paid member company for at least 6 months in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri or Oklahoma.
Applicants must not have attended more than one accredited design or business school before.
All applications must be postmarked by August 31st, 2009,and sent to Pat Phillips, Ozark Florist Association, 2303 So. Campbell, Springfield, Mo. 65807 ( via mail or faxed to (417) 889-9159.
Photocopies of the application are acceptable. If needed, you may use a separate sheet of paper. You MUST state the question first.
Neatness does count !! Please remember to print or type your application. We must be able to read your application !!!
Very Important !!! All Applicants MUST be present at the Presidential Awards Banquet on Saturday, September 19 to receive the scholarships. If you are not present and a scholarship is awarded to you, that scholarship will go to the runner - up.
All scholarship winners must use their scholarship between October 2009 and September 2010.
If you receive a scholarship you MUST abide by the all the rules. If your situation changes, you must inform Pat Phillips.

Each applicant is on their honor to submit truthful information. Some information may be verified before the application is considered. Purposely providing inaccurate information renders the application ineligible for consideration.
Applicants that do not win a scholarship may resubmit an entirely new application next year for consideration.
